Product Information
Hacienda Zorita Tempranillo is made from selected grapes grown on a 72 ha. Vineyard in the Natural Park of Arribes del Duero, the Unamuno Vineyard in D.O Arribes del Duero. Here, we work with the latest viticulture techniques including the Smart-Dyson vine training method, allowing for better and more complete ripening of the grapes. We grow international varieties (Syrah, Malbec, Cabarnet Sauvignon and Merlot) as well as Spain's Indigenous Tempranillo.
The Arribes del Duero Natural Reserve is the furthest point one could possibly go along the Duero riverbanks in Spain. Before Hacienda Zorita arrives, only a few cooperatives were making wine here from the local Juan García grapes, gathered by small plot farmers. Without blowing our own trumpet, in a way we started a revolution. We set up shop here and the D.O arrived a few months later.
Please drink responsibly: The UK Chief Medical Officers recommend adults do not regularly drink more than 14 units per week

Brand details
The story of Hacienda Zorita begins in 1366, when the estate was donated to the Dominican order, who cultivated the land and the vines for decades. In 1487 Christopher Columbus stayed here for Valcuevo conferences, where he obtained the funding it would take to discover the new world. Art, history and gastronomy converge at Hacienda Zorita Wine Hotel & Spa, located in the heart of the Duero Valley.
