Hatozaki is a range of Japanese blended whiskies created from the maturing barrel stocks in our Akashi warehouses. Our Master Blender uses a two-fold blending process, to bring these different whiskies together and create the complexity and balance so prized in Japanese whisky.

Kaikyo Distillery was created in 2017 by the Yonezawa to celebrate the centennial of their family business. The Yonezawa family have been making artisan Sake in Akashi City since 1856 and in 1917, started distilling Shochu. From one generation to the next, the family has kept their legacy alive by continuing to develop their spirits expertise. Today, Kimio Yonezawa, our Master Blender & Distiller, uses his experience and heritage to follow his dream to establish Kaikyo distillery.
