Hawksmoor 35 Day Aged British Beef Bone Marrow

Since we opened our first restaurant in 2006, we’ve been working with passionate farmers across Britain doing things the old-fashioned way. Slowly, carefully, always focusing on the health and happiness of the animals and the land on which they graze. Keep refrigerated below 5C.
Once opened, consume within 1 day.
Do not exceed use by date.
For use by date see front of pack.
Suitable for home freezing on day of purchase. Use within 1 month of freezing.
Defrost fully before use.
Do not refreeze. once defrosted.

Remove all packaging and allow to breathe for 10 minutes. Season cut side with sea salt and freshly ground pepper and roast in a hot oven (200°C/180°C Fan) for 6-8 minutes or until softened and lightly browned. Alternatively, remove small nuggets of bone marrow with a teaspoon and add to burger patties or whisk into gravy.


For an easy side dish or starter, finely slice 2 large onions and cook over a low heat with 125ml water stirring regularly until sweet and golden (around 20 minutes). Spoon over the cooked bone marrow and place under a hot grill until lightly singed on top. Sprinkle with sea salt and serve.
