- Particularly Suited to: Best suited for young, growing and breeding animals.

- Coarse and Crunchy Stems: Helps assist with digestion and dental function.
- Barn Dried and Dust Extracted: We are able to provide a consistent product year round and waste will typically be reduced when a suitable, high quality hay is offered.
*With this product, often the finer pieces are the alfalfa leaf which is more brittle and does break down during processing.

Preparation and Usage
Nutritionist top tips for feeding small pets:
- Experiment with a buffet of forage choices which consists of a mixture of different hay types to keep your pets enriched.
- Present hay in various feeders including hay balls, hay tunnels or cardboard filled with hay and in various locations to encourage natural foraging behaviours.
- Try mixing in fresh vegetables and leafy greens within the hay ration to encourage foraging behaviour.
Any changes to the diet must be undertaken gradually over a period of 7-14 days. Keep a close eye on weight and condition and use this to inform feeding choices. If you have any questions at all, please contact your vet or our nutritionist.
Feeding guidelines:
Small pets are herbivores that thrive on a plant-based, grass-led diet. Remove spoiled hay daily. Clean, fresh water should be available at all times.

Why you'll love Hay Day!
HayDay started on our family farm in Yorkshire by ourselves: self confessed grass enthusiast brothers, Tom and Mike. With over 10 years experience, we understand the perfect grass mixes for the health and wellness of your small pets.
We can barn dry the hay right here on our farm in Yorkshire using green energy (so we don't have to rely on the British weather!) so you can rest assured your hay will be premium quality every time. We are champions of our environment and have initiatives to reintroduce hedgerows and wildflowers and are constantly improving our farming practices - you can see more about this on our website!
We're sure your small pets will be just as hopping mad for our hay as we are...let us know! And don't forget to send us photos of the famous golden poops our hay is known for - the best poops win!
Tom & Mike
From our in-house nutritionist: Finding a suitable forage can be one of the most challenging tasks when providing for our small furries. HayDay takes some of the stress away by providing consistent high-quality hay made start to finish in-house and grown right here in the UK.
Hay should represent 80 to 95% of a small pet's diet, make sure you feed the best.
Every pet deserves a Hay Day!
