Still too much sugar
3.4g of sugar per biscuit is not ok for babies
Contains Palm Oil
Stop feeding your babies palm oil - they will need the rainforests when they grow up. For the record there is no such thing as sustainable palm oil
Not just for children
Was looking for healthy biscuits and thought I’d give rusks ago what’s not to like, taste better than digestives and are basically a mini vitamin tablet
these are great
Taste good, less sugar, great for the daughter! Hard not eat them myself!
Great for a snack or pudding!
Personally....for a young child just weaning I would mash these with boiled & cooled water as with milk it can be a bit thick and craggy in baby's throat. They are also great mashed up & then add some fruit purée....like a fruit crumble for weaning. Low sugar is much better than the full sugar variety especially once the teeth come through and they are chewing the rusk. We love these rusks!
1 year old loves them!
Having been told by a health visitor that rusks are akin to feeding your baby a doughnut and that it was frowned upon, I dutifully abstained. Until he had a tummy upset and the Dr told me to give him rusks! And he loves them! Do they do a Krispy Kreme version?!
