This is perfect for little ones . Tastes great, no need to worry about salt&sugar content. it's a healthy ketchup.
chemical sweet taste
no added sugar unfortunately does not mean unsweetened. Its just as disgustingly sweet as the regular stuff, but with an additional chemical aftertaste. Horrid!
Maybe I have been conditioned to the regular and the 50% less sugar/salt, but I really disliked this ketchup. It didn't taste good at all, noticeably different to the regular Heinz.
I was really missing ketchup on my homemade keto fish fingers, but this is just the job. Lots of Heinz flavour and good ketchup tang At only 5g carbs per 100g it's win win from me
converted from reduced sugar variety
My youngest son has ketchup on everything and Ive always bought the reduced sugar/salt versions as this is something that concerns me. I hadnt tried this before but my son didnt notice any difference in flavour so will definitely convert
I was never a fan of Heinz ketchup (the original) because I knew it was basically tooth rot in a bottle. So when this new version arrived I tried it and really like it. I guess if youre used to covering your food in the full sugar version you probably wont enjoy this. Yes its bitter because some of the sugar has been removed thats part of the appeal for me and as Im not used to eating the original version on a regular basis I found this more palatable.
