Preparation and Usage
Directions for use: Test HG limescale remover with a sponge on a small and inconspicuous place first. Apply with the HG sanitary sponge. Leave to work for a few minutes, then wipe/rinse off with water. Repeat the treatment if necessary. Immerse badly functioning shower heads in HG limescale remover for 30 minutes and finish off by brushing. Afterwards rinse off thoroughly with water.

Besides the familiar silver-coloured sanitary ware (made of chrome), there is now also sanitary ware of different colours that is not acid-resistant. Before using this product, check the manufacturer's maintenance instructions for the sanitary ware. Do not use on marble, travertine, granito, blue Belgian limestone and other types of calciferous natural stone, vulnerable paintwork, lead glazed materials and non-acid resistant bathtubs or other non-acid resistant surfaces.

Quick and effective
I've used this for a while now to tackle hard water/limescale build up on taps, shower screens and toilets. It works fast undiluted, but be careful applying to chrome, don't leave it on for too long. Using gloves is essential.
Caustic + Average Performance
I bought this on the strength of its reviews. Unfortunately, I did find it very caustic, even diluted 10 to 1. And I didn't think it worked very well at that dilution either. Perhaps it is better neat...
Top quality
Was sent this to review by Ocado and it really works well. I live in a hard water area and limescale builds up quickly. This is effective in terms of performance and cost. Will purchase from now on.
