50ml Highland Park 12 Year Old
10ml honey syrup (1:1)
Pinch of smoked sea salt
Dash of orange bitters
Dash of Angostura bitters
Orange twist
Instructions
First, hold your glass to the light to enjoy the clear AMBER glow, then tilt and rotate it to see the beads of whisky appear on the inside of the glass. The smaller they are, the higher the alcohol strength and the slower they fall, the better the spirit quality.
Next, add a drop of water and take three long sniffs. The first just gets your nose used to the alcohol, but in the second, you'll discover our characteristic honey sweetness, and in the THIRD, fruit - maybe pineapple, apple or pear.
Now, taste the whisky by CHEWING it in your mouth for 4 or 5 seconds, then swallow. The front of your tongue will start to tingle and after a few seconds your mouth will go dry, leaving a GENTLE SMOKEY FEELING and a flavour that keeps on going

Very good malty taste
Highland Park 12 year old is a well-regarded single malt whisky known for its balance of sweet and smoky flavors. Aged in sherry casks, it offers notes of heather honey, fruitcake, winter spice, and orange alongside a gentle peat smoke. It's a good choice for those who enjoy a complex but approachable dram.

Opened another great Scottish whiskey, loved it thanks to its special taste . Will definitely keep it in my house
Jury\x27s out
I've tried a lot of whisky's recently and this brand is definitely my least favourite. Very peaty and oaky. The bottle is also traditional and not one I'm drawn to over some of the more creative designs. Can't tell the difference in taste with the other whisky's under this brand.
Lovely whisky
Pretty bottle and packaging - The overall presentation of everything you get is lovely, it comes in a rather classy black and gold design, with a reflective finish on some of the text and logo. The presentation is carried over on the bottle, but more kept under check to show off the whiskey inside.The smell - The smell is powerful, and fills up the room rather nicely. I find I get some vanilla, smoke, and some orange in the nose.
A good Whisky.
This is a whisky that we tried and we would recommend. It is aged and the flavours are noticeable and it has an attractive aroma too. Great on ice. It comes in box which is a good idea and would make an ideal, well presented gift.
Smoky and peaty
Highland Park 12 yo is definitely peaty and has a subtle smoke which is different to my usual whiskies. There is a subtle taste of vanilla and berries too.
