Not British Honey
I have been buying Hilltop Honey for some while under the impression that it was British from my search for British honey. However reading the label I have discovered that it is not British at all so very misleading. It is such a shame as it is a good product but I am now trying to support British farming and British products.
as a slight aftertaste
this was a sub for Rowe's thought no were near as nice I found its seems to have a aftertaste I usually put honey in my morning tea ,but this morning I tried this honey it's was ok but found it didn't give my Tea much honey flavour like some of other brands was disappointed that it's was blended and from non EU countries as it said on bottle it did have a aftertaste when I tried it raw I will Finnish it but would not buy again, the 3 stars is that it's as a honey taste and value for money
Last 2 purchases have crystallised
before they were half empty, rendering the runny honey, not so.. Very frustrating.. I wont be risking a third...
Misleading \- not British \- blended non EU honey
This comes up on OCADO after a search for British honey. The online description does not state it is blended non EU (I've just read this on the label). The product branding is designed to appear like a British company (which it is) - but it is not selling British honey.
honey at good price
This is the best value honey on Ocado. I buy weekly for years and never had any issues. Its sweet and sticky and is honey.
