History
Bodegas La Eralta is a family-owned winery founded in 1990. Located in the village of Agoncillo, in the heart of Rioja, the winery and its team of specialists manage 360 hectares of vineyards spread across different plots throughout the region. In addition, it cultivates family vineyards in the village of Bergasa, originally planted by the founder, Francisco Sanz. Bodegas La Eralta produces a wide range of Rioja wines of excellent quality, all true to the classical Rioja style.

Regional information
The vineyards are located in La Rioja, specifically within Rioja Alta, a subregion characterized by clayey-calcareous, clayey-ferrous, and alluvial soils. Rioja Alta benefits from an Atlantic climate and sits at an altitude of 650 metres above sea level. The vines are over 35 years old, producing grapes with depth and concentration. Harvesting is carried out by hand, with dates varying depending on the specific plot and ripening conditions.
