good authentic guacamole, other flavours don't over power the flavour of the avocado and the avocado flavour is delicious.
This is the only ready made guacamole we will buy. The rest are awful and taste nowhere like guacamole, but this tastes absolutely delicious. I could eat the pot with a spoon! Please keep stocking it
great guacamole - not loving new packaging
Still my favourite, but what happened to the plastic cover? Now goes brown immediately when you use it.
I wish they did bigger pots because its so nice.
Pros & Cons
Real Mexican guac does NOT have dairy in it (& doesn’t need it), and this is the only one without dairy that I can find among our local shops + Ocado, so I keep buying it regularly. However,... 1) it comes in too small a pot for a family taco or fajita night, 2) it’s a bit bland ( but I’m not suggesting it just needs more spicy kick; it’s a certain flavour that’s missing...), And 3) it’s too smooth for me. I prefer it chunkier, as in the picture above. The product itself isn’t like the thick, chunky bowl of guacamole pictured. But generally speaking it has decent ingredients (& crucially, no dairy), so it’s not a bad product. I’ll keep buying it until Ocado stocks another fresh, chunky, tasty, dairy-free option (or Whole Foods moves in next door to me).😉
Initially disappointed by how small the pack looked but the taste was really deliciously fresh. Didnt have a kick to it - I actually thought maybe Id mistakenly bought the smashed avo instead of guacamole. But I like that plain fresh taste anyway.
