inedible
Bought this by accident in flash sale and didnt notice it was not actual cheese but plant based. It is one of the most disgusting things Ive ever tasted and the bite I had coated my tongue so revolting taste lingered - reading the ingredients I think the main offending ingredient is truffle oil.
Disgusting
I was about to tell Ocado that this brie was off/fermented when I've noticed it was plant based. Frankly, if I were vegan, I'd prefer not to eat cheese at all.
Nothing like bree
Absolutely shocking taste more like a bland plastic dairylea with a faint earthy tone? There are many good vegan cheeses out there. And for a fiver!? At best, this could be used as a stage/film prop.
Shocking taste. Not Brie. Binned.
Packaging not clear at a glance. But open minded and tried it, if you can push through all the packaging, smell, the plastic look of a slice. I am amazed anyone can endure a taste. Let alone like it. I can only assume people are not eating real Brie for a long time and this becomes ok, even nice somehow but from where I am sat, its terrible. I can still taste it now as I wrote this grimacing.
Loved this little miracle
Really enjoyed this cheese, texture and flavour. I think if you hate truffle, you might not care for this as there's a hint of it in the flavour.
We did not enjoy this at all and we are vegan
The texture and taste were very odd . First tried it at room temperature and we were not impressed. We tried it again after chilling it in the fridge overnight. Its just not the savoury treat we longed for.
