Brand
The Horse’s Spirit Company was founded in the German Black Forest in 2020. Its aim? To blend the centuries-old distilling expertise of its home region into the traditional production of American whiskey, thereby capturing the best of both worlds on a new quest into the spirit realm. Saddle up! Our Bourbon comes from the award winning Firestone and Robertson distillery in Texas, it is is made with yellow dent Texas corn, soft red winter wheat, six-row distiller’s malt and a proprietary yeast strain that was captured from a Texas pecan. To spice up our bourbon we use a habanero distillate produced in the Black Forest using traditional and artisanal methods of flavour extraction.

warm your cockles
Got this as a free sample lovely taste in small amounts. Not spicy, mellow and warm
lovely warming tones
This whiskey is very smooth and warming, a great little addition to the drink cabinet, my grandad used to swear by a small glass of whiskey to keep colds at bay, he would have loved too.
Winter warmer
I was given this by Ocado as a freebie to review. I can definitely recommend. Its a nice warming drink you can enjoy on its own or with a ginger ale or ginger beer imo. A nice little tipple for a winter evening.
quirky drink
Ocado sent me one of these to review - a small bottle in nice box . Not too hot strong tasting but is nice as a treat for something a bit different. Quite expensive so would be good for special occasions or a gift .
Wow!
I was not expecting this to be as lovely as this. I'm not much of a whisky/Bourbon drinker, but I gave it a go when it was sent to me. If anyone is worried about the spice, it's not spicy at all, just warm. I had it with ginger beer and lemon zest. Alternatively on its own, on the rock's. I think I've just been converted. It's a lovely winter drink. My husband tried it too, and he thought it was lovely. He was worried about it being spicy, ha ha!
Smooth, deep flavour
This is one of the nicest Bourbons I have tried. It's got a lovely smooth, deep flavour with sweet, fruity, vanilla undertones. Tastes good neat so that you can really enjoy the intensity of the habanero pepper or mixed with coke. A quality whiskey that I would recommend trying.
