This pack comes with 2 separate blocks of curry flavouring so I find it does 2 separate meals. I soak one packet in hot water to melt it and then add it to my fried mince. Add peas and any other veg you like. I also use tinned potatoes (the only time I use them apart from a salad). Such a quick and easy meal and very tasty
Two servings not 9
Even if you use an entire block in each meal with a couple hundred ml of boiling water, its still pretty thin (yet grainy?). Good heat and flavour, pretty close to a takeaway.
easy katsu curry
We made a chicken katsu curry with this sauce and it tasted authentic. Family loved it. Not spicy, but fragrant with spices.
Not my favorite japanese curry.

Ive been making Japanese curry at home for decades. Nice to see Ocado expanding its Japanese basics range however, I cant understand why its more than £2 more expensive than Ive seen anywhere else.
