Brand details

Fresh flavour starts in the freezer. At Ice Kitchen, we make fresh-frozen cooking pastes for curries, stir-fries and marinades. We blend real ingredients - herbs, spices and aromatics - then freeze them immediately, so you get big, fresh flavour without the prep. No UPFs. No preservatives. No half-used jars at the back of the fridge. With your favourite protein and veg, you can cook a proper meal in minutes. Why frozen? Because fresh flavour doesn’t belong sealed in a jar for months. Fresh herbs, chillies, garlic, ginger and aromatics are at their best when they taste bright and vibrant. Freezing lets us protect that flavour without relying on preservatives or heavy processing. That is why Ice Kitchen lives in the freezer.

Recipes

Korean spicy bulgogi
Feeds two in 20 minutes
You'll need
- 1 Pot Korean Spicy Bulgogi Stir Fry Paste
- 1 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil (20g)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (15g)
- Toasted sesame oil & sesame seeds
- 400g Boneless, skinless chicken thighs, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp gochujang red pepper paste (40g)
- 1 bunch spring onions, sliced into 1 inch pieces, whites and greens separated
- Steamed rice & gem lettuce
Steps
1. Defrost paste for 30 sec in a microwave-safe bowl, then mix with chicken and soy sauce.
2. Heat oil in a large pan on medium heat. Fry spring onion whites for 1 min.
3. Add chicken and cook on a medium-high heat for 4-5 mins, stirring frequently.
4. Add gochujang paste and cook for 1 min, until the chicken is cooked through.
5. Stir in spring onion greens for 30 sec, then turn off heat and drizzle with sesame oil and sesame seeds.
6. Serve with steamed rice and gem lettuce to make wraps!
Top tips
- For spicy pork bulgogi, partially freeze pork shoulder until firm, then slice very thinly across the grain for a tender stir fry.
- Serve with kimchi on the side for a tangy, crunchy contrast.
