Bland without additions

If you follow the pack instructions of one pot to one can of coconut milk, it is so weak in flavour (the colour was like a pale Korma)- I doubled the pots and added lots of chilli and coriander, then it tasted better. Would probably go to a different brand in future.

Disappointingly bland

Bit surprised at the rave reviews. This tastes of lemongrass and sugar, and not much else. It’s OK, bit bland, but edible. Mae Ploy is far nicer but Ocado don’t sell it. Adding a lot of garlic, lime juice, hot sauce, and coriander does help though. Will try doubling the quantity next time.

AUTHENTIC THAI TASTE \x26 FRESH AS HELL !!

We have loved Ice Kitchen products for a while now. Each flavour is outstanding. The Massaman is gentle and creamy, The Green curry has a bit more punch and the red curry slightly more punchy still. I disagree with the last comment, the new pots (I checked are all fully recycled and not single use) they take up less room in the freezer than the original packaging....It's not difficult you just take the pod out of the freezer and leave while you prep the veg etc by the time you need it it just pops out the pod. Or just run it under the hot tap for three seconds and it pops right out.... We love this brand so much, we actually prefer to cook with our own organic veg and meats using these pastes rather than our local Thai...it's that authentic.... Cant wait to try to new flavours the Thai Penang sounds right up our st......

new packaging NOT great :(

The old packing had the frozen paste on a wooden stick (very easy to recycle). New pot packaging is awful, you cannot get all the paste out of the pot, the point of the product is to use from frozen, but to get the paste out of the pot, you need to leave it out to defrost! Pot is not suitable for microwave, so cannot defrost in there. Takes away the ease of use and quick cooking meal option, very disappointing :(

Great taste.

This has become one of our favourite meals. I play around with the mix though as we prefer spicy so end up using both portions in one go (for 4 though). Full of flavour and really good.
