best decaf

I started drinking decaf a few years ago. Ive tried various brands, including using beans. (Would be nice if Ocado stocked the Illy decaf beans.) Personally Ive given up on instants, too thin a taste. There are some good decafs to be found, but when its a matter of personal taste obviously you need to search and try. Ive drunk this brand throughout because its consistent and has a ton of flavour and depth without the downside of full caffeine. Expensive, yes, but I just stock up when on offer.

Our go to for decaf

Really enjoy the taste of this coffee - use it to make espresso drinks using an espresso machine and get great results. Very handy that it lasts well in the airtight tin.

Good decaff but too expensive

This makes good coffee and it doesn't taste like decaff. Downside is the inflated price - way more expensive the Lavazza which is certainly as good.

Blocked machine

I second the reviewer who said the grind was so fine that it blocked their espresso machine.

Average but reassuringly costly

Rather ordinary coffee that doesn't do well in taste tests, with more ordinary Italian rival Lavazza faring better and cheap supermarket brands such as Aldi doing best overall. But it is hilariously expensive, and presumably why shoppers here think it's a winner.

over rated

not sure why this gets so much praise. It really isn't that good to be honest the clipper Latin American decaf instant is better!
