History
Cantina Bortolato Emanuela is one of the leading family-owned wineries in Italy. Established in 1986 by the Pizzolo Family; Giorgio (Managing Director) and his three brothers, Augusto, Giuliano and Floriano. The main production facility is based in Calmasino near Lake Garda and boasts one of the most modern facilities in Europe.

Hard to finish

Used to be good - now it's acidic, unpleasant and only drinkable with food, not on its own. Won't buy for a while until it improves.

Just awful

Maybe we had a bad batch but I’m afraid this tasted nothing of a Pinot Grigio to me. More like a very cheap chardonnay. I couldn’t even finish the first glass it was so revolting. Had to use it in a risotto and even then, I hesitated.

Had this with a Green Thai Curry. Fantastic. We had to open both bottles.

Bought on offer

The wine I usually buy isn’t available so I got this because it was on offer. Quite impressed as I wasn’t expecting much. It’s mellow!

lovely organic wine

I always try to buy organic wines , red and white, I found this to be delicious! Would definitely buy again! Highly recommended!
