I agree - the filling was nice but quite limited compared with the thickness of the bun

Tasty but....

I love bao, my only negative comment would be that it could do with more filling to balance the thick bun. Would like to try other flavours if and when available.

love bao, hate this.

I have bought and loved nearly every bao for sale on Ocado. From m&s, itsu, every brand and this is the only one I have disliked. But its not just dislike, its hate. Imagine the hardest bao youve ever had filled with what tastes and looks like old sage and onion stuffing! Buy any other Bao (even any itsu bao) but avoid these!!!!

Best Itsu Bao

Way better than the frozen ones. Finally some proper Chinese food, not some imaginary combinations they put as fillings. Not sure about how other reviewers cook it but I just followed the instructions on the package: open the lid a bit, pop in the microwave for 90 sec and wait for another 90 sec, it will be just fine as a bao should be.

HALF INCH THICK

So thick and inedible, Ive had the smaller ones but cant recommend this thick stoge!
