Preparation and Usage
Try itsu gyoza with our brilliant'broth the perfect base to make 100s of 'bowl meals in minutes
Instructions
Cooking Instructions - General. Ponzu sauce is ready to serve [no preparation required].
Please always be careful of hot steam when removing gourmet gyoza. For guidance only, cooking appliances will vary. Please ensure gourmet gyoza are cooked until piping hot. Do not re-heat once cooked.; Microwave - From Chilled. - Remove sleeve & peel back film halfway, remove ponzu sauce & chopsticks.
- Add 1 tbsp of cold water & replace film.
- Microwave for 1 min on full power [900W].
- Leave to stand for 1 min.; Other - From Chilled. Gently simmer
- Add gyoza to a saucepan of softly boiling water.
- Simmer for 3 mins then drain thoroughly.; Shallow Fry - From Chilled. Pan cook [authentic Japanese style]
- Pre-heat pan with 1 tsp of oil on a low/medium heat.
- Add gyoza to pan & cook for 4 mins.
- Add 4 tbsp of cold water into pan & cover with a lid.
- Cook for a further 4 mins until all the water evaporates.; Steam - From Chilled. [Colander or sieve]
- Place colander/sieve above a pan of softly boiling water.
- Place gyoza in colander/sieve & cover with a lid.
- Steam for 5-6 mins.

I enjoyed them
But wasnt keen on the dip. I used hot sweet chilli dip instead and the flavours were just lovely together. Have bought other gyoza and they were a bit rubbery but these werent even when microwaved.

sooooo delicious
I used to buy these regularly and then they disappeared for awhile. So pleased that they are back as they are absolutely delicious. Great for a tasty but healthy snack.

the most bland tasting gyoza ive ever had
I wanted to like this snack but turns out it is so bland, thanks to the sauce it was actually eaten. Made it the traditional way in a frying pan, a lovely slight crisp was just perfect. Just not much flavour apart from the sauce.
