Cooking Instructions - General. Steaming guarantees a fluffy bun & an even cook, especially if you're cooking lots at once. For the best results when microwaving, cook in batches of 2 or 4.

- Place 2 bao'buns in the centre of a microwaveable bowl
- Cover with microwavable clingfilm and pierce
- Microwave for 50 seconds [750W / 900W]
- Leave to stand for 3 mins then remove clingfilm secs
[4 bao'buns]
- Place 4 bao'buns in the centre of a microwaveable bowl
- Cover with microwavable clingfilm and pierce
- Microwave for 1 min 20 seconds [750W / 900W]
- Leave to stand for 3 mins then remove clingfilm; Steam - From Frozen. [Recommended]
- Poke holes in greaseproof paper to line your steamer [or use a steamer liner] and preheat
- Place bao buns in the steamer and cover with a lid
- Steam for 10 mins
In colander [recommended]
- Poke holes in greaseproof paper to line your colander [or use a steamer liner]
- Place the colander above a pan of softly boiling water
- Place the bao buns in and cover with a lid
- Steam for 10 mins
