Not much flavour
These gyoza look great and have good texture however they really have no flavour and seem a little empty! I had to jazz them up with my own dipping sauce as the one provided wasn't great.
Best fried, great to add to stir fry's!
Add a bit of coconut oil and fry on each side, turning until slightly browned for around 6-10 minutes. I like to crisp them up a little more sometimes and add to ramen or just as a side with the supplied sauce. So much better fried than boiled in my opinion!
You know, for frozen gyozas, theyre alright. I love to keep a bag in the freezer for evenings I dont have time to cook. And they deliver! With a side of stir fried veggies or Asian slaw, youve got yourself a meal! I like to fry them in a pan until the bottoms are turning brown and crispy, and then I add a splash of water and put the lid on to cook the rest of it and they come out great in under 10 minutes. Sauce packets are convenient, but o usually make my own anyway. I think it just creates more packaging waste really, but I guess if youve run out of ingredients for sauce, theyve got you covered.
lovely and versatile
Easy vegan treat. They do great pan fried with a tiny bit of water added in the end + cover with a lid so they are cooked through (steamed). I just wish they were not so pricy and they didnt come in a plastic bag - sure cardboard packaging would be fine!
not as nice as others
The chicken ones are delicious. These have little flavour and turn to mush easily. Be boiled ours so maybe if you fry they would be better. The chicken versions of these are absolutely delicious and the duck buns are a MUST!
Followed cooking instructions exactly but they all just stuck together and were pretty tasteless too.
