Had to be toasted.
When I buy hot cross buns, and I have tried shed loads over the years, I have to open them straight away and eat one or two with butter and au natural. ie not toasted. I could not do this with my packet of Jacksons as they were dry and solid. There was no squidge feeling. I tried them toasted instead which at least brought out the flavour a bit. Couldn't taste the tea in them. Which didn't surprise me. Fair amount of fruit in them. Not going to be a repeat purchase. Sad.
Gorgeous fruit Buns
First time we have had these, loads of tasty fruit, good sized buns ..we ate them toasted with butter and they were probably the best we have ever had ..they certainly disappeared quickly Will buy again for sure
beauiful hot cross buns
I'm a bit of a fan with hot cross buns and having tried a few different types, these are my favourite, not too sweet nor to spongy
Dry tough burnt
These are the worst hot cross buns Ive ever tasted, very dry burnt and unappetising - straight in the bin
The best
These are delicious and not soggy. Lots of fruit. Might be a bit dry for some who like other brands but I find them undercooked and too doughy so these are perfect.
