Storage
Keep refrigerated 0°C to +5°C. Once opened, use immediately. Do not exceed the Use By date. Suitable for freezing. Freeze on or before Use By date. Use within 1 month. Defrost thoroughly before cooking and consume on day of defrosting. Do not refreeze.
Cooking guidelines
Remove from packaging 15 mins before cooking.
Preheat oven to Electric 190⁰C | Fan 170⁰C | Gas 5.
Place joint in a large roasting tray, seasoning and add water or stock (approx 1 inch). Cover with foil and place in the centre of the oven for 4 hours, turn halfway through cooking.
Increase the oven temperature to Electric 220⁰C / Fan 200⁰C / Gas 7, remove foil and cook for a further 20 mins.
When cooked remove from oven and leave to rest for 10 mins.
Carve using a sharp knife or shred by pulling the meat with 2 forks.
Do not reheat.
