Product Information
Kikkoman Sweet Mirin-Style Cooking Seasoning is a sweet Japanese seasoning that transforms ordinary dishes into visually stunning, mouthwatering meals.
Its Japanese name, “Mirin-fu,” means “Mirin-style”. This is because unlike traditional mirin, which contains around 14% alcohol, Kikkoman Sweet Mirin-Style Cooking Seasoning has a much lower alcohol content (0.3%), giving it a smoother, milder sweetness that enhances the natural flavours of your food without overpowering them.
Highly versatile, use it to marinate and glaze meats, seafood, or vegetables, elevate stir-fries, add depth to dips, and even bring a delicate sweetness to desserts. It’s an essential ingredient for the perfect homemade teriyaki sauce, and pairs beautifully with other fermented seasonings like soy sauce, miso, and vinegar.
Produced using Kikkoman’s original fermentation technique, every drop carries centuries of Japanese craftsmanship, bringing both flavour and a touch of culinary tradition to your kitchen.
