Very salty, use small amounts only
I used like 100ml. My dish became a challenge to eat.
Wow
Thought I would try an organic soy sauce after years of using many other brands and shop brands, and the fried rice I made with this was just incredible. I didn't even season it with anything else it was incredible and will defo be the sauce we buy in future. It's just so umami without being too salty or bitter, and really moreish.
Nice to have it organic
Pretty nice soy sauce and good depth of flavour.
watch out they changed the colour of the label!
They changed the colour of the label and this one is now the same colour the gluten-free one used to be so now I've bought this one, which no one in the household can eat, by mistake twice once because I mistook the label colour and the second time because Ocado added it to my favourites so it appeared on my weekly shop and I didn't realise it wasn't the gluten-free version.
Big bottle \- great taste
I prefer this to the regular kikkomans.. not sure why but its dark and just a splash is needed. One star off because I think the pourer could be a bit better.... its quite a large hole so runs out quite easily.
New Favourite Kikkoman
I have switched to this healthier organic version from my ordinary glass bottle Kikkoman soy sauce EU version. It has similar great taste in the glass bottle and is slightly lighter, milder and rounded flavour with less salty edge. It reminded me of Japanese Maru-daizu version of soy sauce with the gold cap by Kikkoman or Marukin (one of my other favourites in Japan, however, more flight miles than EU version in the UK.) Fresh soy sauce has red-brown glow and as it oxidised it will be darker brown colour close to black, that is natural colour change for natural additive-free soy sauce. The one I bought was pretty fresh. Lovely!
