Preparation and Usage
Cooking instructions for Japanese Style Fried Shrimps:
1) Place 40 g of flour in a bowl with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Roll 400 g of shrimps into the flour mixture.
2) Beat 3 eggs until frothy in a separate bowl, then dip the shrimps in the egg.
3) Coat shrimps with Kikkoman Panko.
4) Deep-fry in oil at 180ºC until golden brown and crispy.

Crispy Panko Coated Vegetable Croquettes
serves 4
Prep time: 30 mins Cooking time 30 minutes
Ingredients
800g mashed potato
50 g small broccoli florets, blanched
50 g small cauliflower florets, blanched
8 button mushrooms
4 cherry tomatoes
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce
10 tbsp plain flour
10 tbsp Kikkoman Panko Breadcrumbs
Vegetable oil for deep frying
For dipping:
Ready-made tomato sauce
Method
With wet hands, encase each piece of vegetable individually in mashed potato to make them into small balls.
Mix the Kikkoman soy sauce with the beaten egg and tip into a bowl. Place the flour and the Kikkoman panko in two separate bowls.
Roll each ball first into the flour, then the egg, and finally coat in Kikkoman panko.
Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown and serve with a tomato sauce.
