Have been meaning to try ponzu for ages. I dipped in stir fried wasabi brocoli and veg gyoza and it was unreal. Very elevating dip/sauce
Makes a great cheats Ceviche!
We get through loads of this in our house - fresh fish, avocado, sweet potato chunks and red onion with a good drizzle of this, absolutely perfect!
Best ready made ponzu!
Looks to me like a lot of the reviewers don’t know what ponzu should be like. It is well worth it for the convenience of a pretty authentic ready made ponzu. I find it really hard to find ponzu in british supermarkets, pleasantly surprised.
Too watery to be versatile
Taste is OK if a little artificial (like if lemon) but the main problem is its just too watery - I'm sure that's authentic/traditional but it just really limits its versatility for me compared to soy sauce
Not bad, but could be improved.
The lemon flavouring throws the taste off a little. Would be improved if they just used the lemon juice only. But overall not bad, nice glass bottle too.
I usually buy the Clearsprings Yuzu Ponzu. Tried this and regretted it instantly. The flavour is very artificial to me and on checking the ingredients, it's probably the "lemon flavouring". What a let down. It's going in the bin.
