Been buying these for ever, never had a bad tin. Such a great cupboard staple to chuck in a stir fry for great taste and texture

Tasted awful

My wife opened the tin and thought it smelt of urine and the taste was awful. I love bamboo shoots but never having these again.

Almost authentic!

What a boon to find such a YUM addition to your stir-fy. These bamboo shoots provide a healthy option without the hassle of peeling, chopping, etc. Drain off the tin water, mix with water chestnuts and bean sprouts, maybe some pineapple chunks and cooked rice, sauce of your choice. Might be even better than your usual take-away - give it a go!

90% was chewable. Much better than most bamboo shoots that are tougher.

Fresh!

This felt, smelt and tasted fresh even though it came out of the can. It has a very delicate smell to it which is great because sometimes I can find the bamboo shoots you get in takeaways and restaurants a bit too overpowering
