Preparation and Usage
Mix flour and salt (optional) together in a bowl. Add vegetable oil and stir. Gently add water, continually mixing until a semi-soft dough forms. Cover with a moist cloth and rest for 10 minutes.
Make small balls, slightly smaller than an egg in size. Flatten and roll on dry flour with a rolling pin. It should be 4-5 mm thick and 6-8 inches in diameter and round in shape.
Cook in a preheated skillet, tava, or griddle until golden brown on both sides. Serve with a knob of butter.
