Nice avocado
I am reviewing this as I received a free coupon from Ocado. It was very nice and ripened quickly in a brown paper bag with a ripe banana. Kept well once ripe. Not overly large but certainly not small. I would buy loose next time i want to buy avocados.
Ready to eat
I am reviewing as I had a free coupon from Ocado I enjoyed this it was fresh and ready to eat. I normally buy a two pack but am tempted to switch
Took time to ripen
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free coupon from Ocado. Thank you. We normally buy the Ocado medium ripe & ready pack of 3 avocados on a weekly basis, so we were keen to see if the large single avocado was any better. Size wise, it was a little larger, but we would probably stick to buying the packet of 3 medium. This avocado, we seemed to eat at its best, we didn’t eat it immediately and ate it 5 days after delivery, when now it was ripe, creamy and tasty.
Good but not ripe
These have been good on the whole but definitely not ripe for eating on delivery. They have a creamy fresh avocado taste and though I have had the occasional black bit every brand tried has been the same on this problem, and think maybe it's bruising from handling them. Getting ripe quality avocados is difficult but so far have not had the bad experiences of previous comments customers.
Rock hard
I’m writing this review because I got a free sample from Ocado- I’ve received a large avocado which is rock hard and guess will take several days to ripen
