Brand details

The Brotte House is a family-owned and independent
company founded in 1931 in Châteauneuf-du-Pape by
Mr. Charles Brotte.

Today, Thibault and Benoît, the 5th generation, join their
parents Christine and Laurent, driven by the same desire
for "doing things well" as their ancestors. Their pioneering
and visionary spirit has allowed them to build recognized
expertise in over 100 countries. As early as 1931, they were
among the first in the region to market wines in bottles,
which enabled export development from the 1950s.

Built on authentic and fresh-style wines, Maison Brotte
strengthens its winemaking expertise with three estates:
Domaine Barville in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Domaine
Grosset in Cairanne, and Château de Bord in Laudun. This
represents a total of 87 hectares, in conversion to organic
farming. In this spirit of sharing, a Wine Museum, covering
over 500 square meters, in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-
Pape, welcomes visitors from around the world to discover
the wines and appellations of the Rhône Valley.

Vinification details

The grapes are carefully selected at optimal maturity and vinified using traditional methods, with long maceration to extract color, structure, and aromatic intensity. Fermentations are carried out at controlled temperatures in order to preserve the purity of the fruit.

The wine is then aged using oak foudres allowing both freshness and complexity to develop while refining the tannins.

This approach results in a wine that perfectly balances power and elegance, offering a modern yet authentic expression of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
