Le Conserve della Nonna Green Pesto Sauce is a superior vegan basil pesto that remains faithful to its traditional recipe. There are no substitutions with inferior ingredients and there are no compromising ingredients you would not expect to see in a traditional basil pesto.
The sauce has the intense basil flavour you would expect with a creaminess derived from the generous level of pine kernels and fresh basil leaves. The pesto is made in the capital of gastronomy, the Emilia Romagna region of Italy, and only perfectly ripe, seasonal, high quality ingredients are selected using methods which respect the environment.
Traditional pine kernels used are seeds not nuts and the lactic acid is vegetable derived.

My husband is very fussy when it comes to pesto and is a vegan. This is the best option short of making it myself. Makes excellent base on pizza or pasta alike
Very weak flavour, no matter how much you use, but not actively bad tasting
Didn’t like the vegetable fibres
Tasted good but really didn’t like the long stringy vegetable fibres, they were like an inch long and didn’t have a nice texture. Either shred them up when making the pesto or leave them out, I think.
Tasty pesto perfect for vegans and non vegans in the household. Good oil content so crisps up gnocchi in the pan really well.
Tried this as an alternative to usual vegan kind, which Id tired of. Very nice change. Good balance. Will be buying again
I add a little fried garlic and chilli to this and I actually prefer to most non-vegan pestos. It’s very tasty and creamy.
