Appalling
Bought on offer for the first time. We were horrified to spot a couple of dead small worms on the outside of one of the pieces, after cooking, while we were eating. Even without the worms, we wouldnt buy again. The fish was slightly dry and all four pieces contained bones. We didnt realise it had been previously frozen. The strong colour also seemed suspicious. There were traces of colour on our dinner plates. My son wiped his piece with kitchen roll and colour came off it.
NOT FARMED. BEAUTIFUL SALMON
Love these. I always buy them, and not been disappointed. How it turns out, depends on how you cook it. Salmon when wild, tastes different to farmed. Farmed is controlled breeding and feeding. I prefer natural habitat. Then you are getting the real taste of the sea. Yummy! Expensive, but there's 2.
Very disappointing
I find farmed salmon at Ocado very fatty, including the M&S product so I decided to try the wild salmon. However, this was completely tasteless. Won't buy again and will look for another source of farmed salmon that is not as fatty as the ones I've tried from Ocado.
lovely and delicious
Very nice and fresh fish, always a staple
Great wild salmon
I buy this regularly. Great with potatoes, pasta or made into fish cakes. Weve even had it in wraps. It is the best wild salmon sold by Ocado and I find it has fewer bones than wild salmon from other brands. It is very expensive, but I would much rather have wild salmon less often than more farmed. Plus it is often on offer. Strangely it doesnt come up when I search wild salmon in the Ocado app. You have to search for Leap to find it. Ocado, could you fix this please.
just needs a good season
Not very rich but wild salmons the only one that doesnt make me go red! Tasted lovely though baked
