Not a fan of this
This salmon has a deeper red colour than what I'm used to and it is a firm fish and rather chewy. It has a stronger than average fishy flavour which I'm not a great fan of. Its not horrible just not something I would buy again
Pathetically thin tail ends
They look nothing like this picture, they vary from half a centimetre to a centimetre in thickness, which once separated from the skin will be more like posh cat food flakes. Cannot believe they charge this price for off-cuts
not as good as should be
meat was falling apart in some areas. At this price shoud be the best quality. Not horrible but not worth the price. expected much more. also I do not appreciate the plastic packaging. it's 2020 why there is still plastic used to pack the food.
The texture of this is more watery than it used to be and doesn't taste as good. Now that the price is increased, I don't think it's worth the money, even on offer at present. Such a shame, as this used to be good.
Shame the best salmon is so expensive
Proper natural salmon colour (mostly) and much better for you than the coloured bright pink farmed salmon. Just shame it is so expensive.
Quality has deteriorated
These used to be good, ranging between excellent and ok. The quality has gone down recently, and now it seems to range between ok and pretty bad. The salmon is more watery and less firm when it's raw and then when cooked it tends to have a much stronger fishy taste than it used to.
