Recipes

Classic Chinese Chu Hou Beef Stew (Serves 4)
Coat 500g diced beef briskets with 1 tbsp cornflour. Stir-fry the beef with 1 tbsp oil until lightly browned. Add 4 tbsp Chinese Five-Spice Sauce, 750ml cold water and 1 tbsp brown sugar, bring it to boil then lover the heat and simmer for 40 mins. Add in 300g 2cm sliced mooli and cook for further 30 mins until sauce thickens and beef is tender.
