Responsibly farmed in the cool, clear waters of Scotland's West Coast and smoked in our own Smokehouse, Loch Fyne smoked salmon is renowned for its quality and depth of flavour.
We dry cure our fresh salmon fillets with brown sugar and sea salt, then gently smoke over oak shavings from retired whisky casks. The result is a delicate yet richly flavoured salmon.

awful oily taste with dark bits I had to cut off
Thoroughly off putting from the packaging to the taste to the colour of some of the fish. I did not enjoy it.
“I’m no expert....”
“...but I thought this salmon was great. My favourite so far”.
Good salmon, poor presentation
If you're producing a premium product you want it served at its best. in the case of smoked salmon that means slices that separate easily, these don't. A bit of extra care would make a big difference
Melt in your mouth
We are fighting over this in our house. Soft and full of flavour I can highly recommend.
can taste the difference
Bought in flash sale as normally buy cheaper smoked salmon. Can definitely tell this is a more expensive product - feels like a treat rather than mundane everyday item. Would buy again for special occasion
Had rather gone off smoked salmon of late - the wild one has a good texture but too smokey, others too slimy - but this is lovely and how I remember smoked salmon being when it was still considered a luxury (that makes me sound so old!) - delicate flavour, not too oily. Currently buying on a weekly basis, despite price.
