Worms!!!
The thin pieces of processed fish will mean they will have gone off sooner. These smelt fishy when opening the container up but cooked them up anyways. When having this as leftovers I noticed a long wormlike piece separate from the fish. This was examined under a magnifying glass and could see a digestive tract. Just yuck. I googled it and yes, sole too can have these round worms. So gross. I will not be buying this brand again. Scottish fish tends to be farmed and more likely to have parasites.
Too thin and fell apart
I wouldn't bother with these again. Some of the fillets were wafer thin, and just fell apart on cooking.
Strong Smell
Tasted OK but strong fishy smell even when cooked.
absolutely delicious
Like others on here I cooked in foil for about 12 minutes. Drizzled with olive oil, salt and pepper and some lemon slices and parsley. It was so tender, moist and beautiful, tasted really fresh. I got this on a flash sale and not sure Id pay full price but would snap it up if I saw it on sale again.
Great taste
Really good taste but I wouldn't pan fry again as they are delicate and fell to pieces but will purchase and cook in oven next time.
Delicious lemon sole
Had this for the first time last night and was so impressed - delicious for shop bought fish. Followed the packet recommendation of oven cooking in tin foil for 10mins, added butter and seasoning... Honestly could have been in a restaurant! Will def buy again. Fab healthy dinner with salad.
