Delicious
I read the mixed reviews and I'm glad I took the chance as it was delicious. Like any fish it's better to eat it as fresh as possible.
Bought in the flash sale
Meaty fish and nice tasting
Still bad
I thought as there was at least 6 months since the last review it was worth risking it, but these were full of water, underweight, stank of fish (first monkfish I’ve had that smelt) and had a membrane. Avoid.
Not great!
Bought these for a treat - they really werent! There was skin left on the bottom, which made eating the fish really difficult. And it was pretty tough fish to eat. Certainly not a pleasure. Really disappointed. We thought that the name Loch Fyne would mean quality, but in this case it certainly didnt. I would not buy this again.
Only 1 fillet !
I couldnt recommend. The tray was full of water as if the fish had defrosted. There was only 1 fillet and a small off cut. Very poor quality presentation for the money.
Give it a miss
I got this cheaper on flash sale, thankfully. Decent size but there were loads of stringy bits in it. Put me off my dinner!
