Regional information

This wine comes from the famous cru of Fleurie. Situated in the Beaujolais, south of Mâcon, the soils in this region are well-suited to Gamay. The granitic soils here are very thin on top and are salmon pink in colour where the crystalline rock sub-soil reaches the surface.

Tasting notes

This wine is fruity and floral. It is mellow and elegant but also a little racy. With a silky texture and a structure of lovely finesse. Full, ripe red fruits are balanced by a supple freshness and acidity on the palate.

Manufacturer marketing

Delicious, juicy Gamay reds are very much suited to today's trend towards lighter, elegant fruity styles of wine.
