Country of Origin
Great freshness and finesse from the emerging aromas of lime, apple and pear. Beautiful notes of blackcurrant and white fruit topped with a hint of honey. The finish is long and soft with an excellent balance of sweetness and acidity.
Alexandre-Louis Pommery, an enlightened businessman, founded the Pommery Champagne House in 1836. Since its creation, the portfolio of Pommery champagnes is the expression of a unique and extensive know-how combining tradition with modernity. We have adapted the brand to modern times without revolutionising it, having the same unparalleled focus on the quality of our Champagnes. It is with this same quality criterion that we have created our English sparkling wine, Louis Pommery England.
We knew that Pommery could develop an excellent quality sparkling wine in the English County of Hampshire. There, we found the same vein of chalk that runs through the Champagne region in France and extraordinary wealth of terroir. In November 2017, Pommery planted the first English vines by a Champagne company.
Since June 2021, Pinglestone Estate has been awarded the label «Sustainable Wines Of Great Britain». Preserving and enhancing the terroir, biodiversity and landscapes is key in our winemaking.
The blend incorporates a majority of Chardonnay, contributing to its finesse and elegance, as well as a large proportion of Pinot Noir, which produces fruit and structure, with a touch of Pinot Meunier. The wine is made by traditional Champagne method. After ageing for the necessary time on lees, to reach the desired maturity, the sparkling wine is disgorged to remove any yeast deposits which give the wine its depth and structure.

This wine is everything my husband is not. I really enjoyed the taste in my mouth, I can only describe it as appley fun sensation. Would definitely do again if the opportunity arises
Light and elegant
A light sparkling wine, with a big taste of fresh apple! Refreshing as an aperitif, especially in the beautiful warm evenings we have been having. It is completely different to Pommery Champagne and very enjoyable.
This is such good sparkling wine. My current favourite. Quite dry

Delicious lockdown treat!
Delicious - very easy to drink while having enough substance to be a real ESW/ champagne. Full of character and perfect for a celebration or treat. We will definitely buy again!
