Our honey is tested for its bioactivity via a Total Activity or TA rating. This is similar to the UMF/MGO rating for Manuka honey; however, TA ratings are a measure of both Peroxide Activity (PA) as well as Non-Peroxide Activity (NPA).


UMF or MGO ratings refer to Methylglyoxal and is a measurement of only NPA found in Manuka honey.

Simply enjoy a spoon from the jar or serve raw to access the full health and nutritional benefits of the honey. As for its consistency our Cherry honey begins liquid but natural crystallization may occur over time. To Bring Crystallized Honey Back To a liquid state: Place the jar in a pot of hot water (not boiling) until the honey is smooth and runny, 5 to 10 minutes. To prevent crystals from forming again, store the honey in a warm, dry place (not the refrigerator), sealed well and avoid introducing moisture. If you prefer a crystalised state then store in the refrigerator.
