Not Dairy Free but Nice
This was pleasant but nothing you couldnt make yourself. I was surprised that it wasnt vegan considering it was a veggie smoothie but Im happy with some dairy.
I added a few extras such as lime, cucumber, matcha tea and coconut milk. Was very nice. Received to review from Ocado.
Would be better if organic
The taste is pleasant enough but for the price the ingredients should be organic and the protein element would be better if dairy free.
In a pinch....
If you really didn't have anything to make a smoothie from, but did have a blender AND some juice then ok. However, I was very surprised it had whey protein in - if it had a non-dairy protein powder it would probably be way more popular - although still not a quick short-cut as then washing up the blender too. If I'm going to get the blender out I'd prefer to make my own so won't be buying this again - although flavour-wise it is nice and fresh - as opposed to pure powders. A matter of personal choice .
Very easy to use. We used a mixture of orange and pineapple to make this. I was dubious about the mixture of fruit and vegetables but it worked well and made a refreshing healthy smoothie. I liked that it had no added sugar or preservatives but I would have preferred. no milk whey as for them to be dairy free. A star removed for this and the package which is not biodegradble or recyclable. Overall a good product and although seems expensive if you buy the ingredients separately would probably be equivalent without the convenience and ability to use portion by portion.
What is the point?
Why would anyone want to pay over £5 for a box containing 4 small plastic sachets of rather miserable looking frozen chopped vegetables plus a few whey protein pellets? To top it all you then have to purchase your own fruit juice in order to blend the smoothie. If you like smoothies why would you not buy a bottle or blend your own with a few fresh fruits and vegetables. I just don't get it - am I missing something?!
