Old fashioned flavour
Essential when you need that sweet, but also kind of burnt/sweet note. I use in baking ginger cakes, but also add a spoonful when I make granola. It adds a depth of flavour you dont get with honey alone.
The food of life
Wonderful stuff with a heavy rich and deep flavour. I use it when baking ginger cake and old fashioned parkin.
So thick and strong, I use this neat on porridge, or to add sweetness and flavour when baking. Brilliant stuff.
It would be even better if it came in a squeezy container like golden syrup does. On the other hand I wouldn't get to lick the spoon!
