Simply the best
I assumed syrup was syrup, and recently bought a supermarket brand for a recipe. It did the job but had none of the richness of Lyle's. Better than all the rest.
The best!
I can remember this in a tin from my childhood in the 50s and 60s. Shame things have to change. Disappointed to see the bottle now has a different label instead of the original label. The original label is far nicer.
Definitely the best
I have been a fan of Tate & Lyle for many years but I have tried others. T&L come out the best. Mostly I use the bottled syrup now, purely for ease.
why can't you reuse the bottle?
the syrup itself is great and good to be in a squeezy bottle for measuring but so annoying that you can't remove the lid and use the last bits/clean it/reuse it.
Diluted and price increased!
This product is clearly thinner than the traditional syrup in a tin. As the same time as being diluted, the cost per gram has increased. The tinned product is becoming unavailable. This hardly seems to be the time to be pushing a product in a plastic bottle?
Handy size bottle
Delicious syrup that can be used with some many different dishes we use it mainly on porridge. The bigger size bottle is so much more convient and cheaper
