I found this behaved differently from the tinned version. The gingerbread dough was wetter and I had to add more flour.
This has 310kcal/100g and less carbohydrate than the tinned which has 325kcal/100g. It has no protein unlike the tinned. I suspect this version is slightly less concentrated with a higher amount of water. It is easy to use, but given its higher cost and different contituents I'll stick with the tinned version.
so much easier to use than a tin. Easy to measure out for baking, and easy to drizzle a small about over the top of porridge, rather than ending up with a big syrup blob in the middle like I always used to with a tin!
