Mouldy
Were mouldy when I opened the packet
Terrible drop in quality
I've been buying these for years. Due to allergies (soy, rye and malted barley/wheat) there are very few types of bread I can buy. After a period of shortages I suspect the supplier has changed as they are now awful Smaller, stodgy, wet, nasty taste. I'm not buying it again - more home baking I guess.
Great ciabattas but easy to overbake
Because these are a lot smaller than the full size 'loaf' ciabattas, they are very easy to overbake leaving you with a dry hard rock - it takes a lot more attention to bake these to perfection, and less time than indicated on the packet. If you get it right they are perfect, and just as wonderful as the large ciabatta loafs.
Just Awful
