Welcome to the 7mm bun

It used to be that you could only get hot cross buns around Easter, but now they're available all year round and for me, that's a good thing. With these M&S buns there's a decent hint of cinnamon and spice and not too many raisins. They're also soft and a little sticky and I enjoy them both toasted with butter and untoasted as well. For long walks I take a bun with me for a quick energy boost. The one problem I have is that Ocado will insist on packing these buns at the bottom of a bag underneath heavier items. My last delivery of buns saw them crushed by apples and bananas, so much so that one bun was a mere 7mm high, making it impossible to cut it down the middle and slather with butter!!

Palm Fat \- in a premium product?

M&S have been replacing butter with palm fat across all their range. Considering this is a premium product and cheaper with fruitier other options available. I won't be purchasing this again.

Always my favourite.

The very best hot cross buns, consistently moist and tasty. Recent price rises make them a bit expensive, but I still treat myself.

Taste 5 delivery 2. Why oh why Ocado do you pack heavy items on top of these DELICIOUS buns. I love these, but they mostly arrive flattened! Please Ocado, sort your picker robot out. Thank you x
