Nice amount of filling
I usually buy the open top mince pies as I prefer the filling to the pastry but they had sold out. These were very nice, the pastry is thin, crumbly & very buttery.
Nothing Special
Had a lot better from a cheaper range. The fruit was quite tough & chewy.
Not so Classic
Pastry feels undercooked and tastes slightly raw. Crumbles and falls apart. Took a bite, asked husband what he thought, not good at all, so threw the rest in the bin. Disappointed and the search for a great mince pie continues.

These are fabulous for the price. The pastry is soft and delicious. Filling isnt overpowering with alcohol and spices. Just right. I dont normally like mince pies but these are much easier to eat. Love them and will be buying more.
Not All Butter Not 350g
Added vegetable oils therefore not all butter. Pack underweight
NOT all butter!
I was excited to finally see mince pies that are all butter but is very annoying to see that they are not - rapeseed and sunflower oils are listed as ingredients?! Please sort it out M&S. Mince pies are very traditional and most certainly were never meant to be made with vegetable oil. Vegetable oils are become more & more unpopular as they are terribly unhealthy & inflammatory.
