Decent scones
A bit pricey for four medium size scones but they taste good and don't fall to pieces like the alternative available from Ocado.
My daughter bought these for me
I had these in the freezer as left over from a birthday tea so have only just tried them. They were absolutely delicious despite having been frozen. I put them in the toaster using a toaster basket as the sultanas dropped out otherwise, suggest grilling them if not. Will definitely be buying in the future.
Nice treat
Lovely and even better when topped with Rodda clotted cream, bad for the waistline, but you only live once
Consistently good \- can be a little crumbly
Big fat sultanas, good buttermilk flavour. Can be a little too crumbly, but good enough that they are a regular in my basket when we want a treat!
Did you think I would crumble...
bought these as a cheaper brand have been described as too crumbly to eat. These were fine on day one, lovely even, but were starting to get a bit crumbly by day 2. Not inedibly so, but it was noticible when trying go cut them. Would still buy again though as they seem to be 'best in class'.
Good
No weird ingredients and best of all no seed oils. Tasted fine, warmed through nicely.
